Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team at Shamos Sealcoating. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards. Your contributions will be vital to the success of our paving projects.
Responsibilities
•
Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as asphalt, gravel, and other construction materials.
•
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials at job sites.
•
Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
•
Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate delivery schedules and project needs.
•
Maintain accurate records of materials transported and delivery times.
•
Adhere to all safety protocols while operating heavy equipment on construction sites.
Requirements
•
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required.
•
Proven experience as a dump truck driver or in a similar role within the construction industry.
•
Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and safety practices.
•
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with supervisors and crew members.
•
Physical stamina and ability to handle manual labor as needed.
