Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and a commitment to maintaining safety standards on the job.
Responsibilities
•
Operate dump trucks to transport various materials, including dirt, gravel, and construction debris.
•
Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials at designated locations.
•
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
•
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, materials transported, and any incidents or delays.
•
Collaborate with site managers and other team members to coordinate transportation needs effectively.
•
Assist with minor maintenance tasks on the truck as needed, ensuring it remains in optimal working condition.
•
Operate additional heavy equipment as required, including bulldozers, graders, loaders, and water trucks.
Requirements
•
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
•
Proven experience in commercial driving and heavy equipment operation.
•
Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques is a plus.
•
Ability to dig and operate Caterpillar machinery effectively.
•
Experience with tanker operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
•
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols on-site.
•
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
