Our company is looking for an experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods from one location to another. This position requires a valid driver’s license Class B and a clean driving record. We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, and has a commitment to safety. Dump truck driver will be hauling materials such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, or asphalt
Responsibilities:
•
Ensure cargo is properly secured
•
Maintain log books
•
Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection of equipment and accessories
•
Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods
•
Drive a truck to transport goods and materials.
•
Follow all safety regulations and procedures.
•
Load and unload cargo in a safe and efficient manner.
•
Maintain communication with dispatch personnel.
•
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
•
erforms pre an post-trip inspection of truck.
•
Operates vehicle in a safe and professional manner regardless of location, speed limit, and traffic.
•
Adheres to State and Federal trucking laws.
•
Exhibits "defensive" driving skills.
•
Carefully follows weight limit
•
Maintains cleanliness of truck
•
Tarps all loads regardless of material being hauled.
•
Operates bed controls for raising/lowering of dump bed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
