If you answered yes to the above questions, then bring your talent and skills to Aspen Commercial Painting! We have an exciting opportunity at our Burr Ridge, IL office for an Experienced Project Manager with proven project success.
You Are:
•PROFICIENCY: Bachelor’s degree is a plus. In-depth industry and project management expertise is desired. Proficiency in use of a personal computer and software programs such as MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook Mail/Calendar/and Drive.
•PROFESSIONAL: Demonstrated work history of safely executing projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with industry standards. Prior experience and skills in budget control and job cost forecasting a plus. Experience in painting and/or commercial construction is also a plus but not required.
•COMMUNICATOR: Effectively communicate both verbally and written to varied levels of audiences; ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts successfully, negotiate changes and protect the company’s interest.
•SYSTEMATIC & METHODICAL: Critical thinker with strong attention to detail; ability to understand and translate plans and designs to varied levels of audiences. Superb time management, prioritization, and organizational skills. Detail oriented, dependable, and reliable. Experience and ability to analyze construction drawings a plus.
•RESILIENT: Quickly adjusts to a changing environment and handles multiple priorities under time constraints. Ability to manage, hire, and coordinate manpower needs. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, managers, general contractors, and clients. Ability to learn and work independently in a fast-paced environment, and be self-motivated.
What You’ll Do:
•DIRECT: Manage the project life cycle including bidding, subcontract negotiations, project scheduling, material procurement, RFI’s, and project punch lists.
•COORDINATE: Plan, oversee, and maintain effective field operations and teams. Will serve as the focal point for communication among the various parties involved.
•IMPLEMENTATION: Effectively accomplish the scope of contracted work within the allotted budget and time schedules.
•EXECUTION: Ensure the financial success of the project with attention to change order management and resolution.
•CUSTOMER SERVICE: Provide exceptional guidance and support to all stakeholders, partners, and team members. Will service all prospective clients with the objective of meeting their project needs and building customer relationships for life. Develop a close working relationship with the General Contractor, Project Managers/Supervisors, and the painting crews to ensure all expectations set forth.
