Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee our establishment and ensure the highest standards of service and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role requires leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage a diverse team while maintaining inventory control and food safety standards.
Responsibilities :
•Provide exceptional customer service and ensure guests are satisfied with their experience.
•Handle any issues and concerns that may arise from daily maintenance to customer complaints and do so diligently and effectively.
•Conduct administrative duties, such as payroll, scheduling, daily food cost, labor, ordering supplies, inventory management, complete daily reports in a timely manner, and financial reporting.
•Ensure all food health and safety protocols are in place and being followed by every team member.
•Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed by all employees, such as dress code, time management, portioning, cash handling, and restaurant cleaning.
•Responsible for training, motivating, and retaining employees (new hires and current). This includes recruiting and hiring, to fill restaurant staff positions.
Qualifications:
•Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in restaurants, the food service industry, or the hospitality industry.
•Candidates should demonstrate adaptability to handle dynamic challenges and possess a proactive approach to decision-making under pressure. The ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and maintain composure in demanding situations is essential in
•Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
•Strong knowledge of food service operations, culinary practices, and food handling regulations.
•Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff through effective training development.
•Proficient in inventory control methods to ensure efficient stock management.
•Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with customers, staff, and vendors.
•Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
