Entry-Level Spanish-Speaking Handyman Assistant
About the Position
We are a locally owned and operated handyman service based in Apple Valley, CA, seeking a motivated and reliable Entry-Level Spanish-Speaking Handyman Assistant to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in the home repair and maintenance industry. The position starts as part-time with the potential to transition into a full-time role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
•
Assist lead handyman with various residential and light commercial repair tasks
•
Help with preparation and cleanup at job sites
•
Perform basic repairs, maintenance, and installations under supervision
•
Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish as needed
•
Organize tools and materials
•
Follow safety protocols and company procedures
•
Run errands and transport materials as needed
Qualifications
•
Must be fluent in Spanish (bilingual: Spanish/English preferred)
•
Must be able to use a computer and phone apps
•
Must possess a valid driver’s license
•
Must be able to pass a federal background check
•
Must be physically capable of lifting and moving equipment and materials
•
Previous handyman or construction experience is a plus but not required
•
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a willingness to learn
•
Local to Apple Valley, CA or surrounding areas (required)
