Job Overview

We are seeking a Journeyman Off Road Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a fleet of loaders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, with experience in rebuilding engines. Your expertise will ensure that our equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities

•

Diagnose mechanical issues in loaders.

•

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on loaders.

•

Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs.

•

Assemble and disassemble machinery as needed for repairs or upgrades.

•

Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely during maintenance tasks.

•

Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.

•

Conduct heavy lifting as required during repair processes.

•

Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.

•

Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

•

Journeyman Off Road Mechanic

•

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

•

Experience operating heavy machinery is essential.

•

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

•

Excellent communication skills to provide effective customer service.

•

Ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary for the job.

•

A valid driver’s license is required.

•

First Aid and H2S Alive certification would be an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
