Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn mower technician as well as a Snow Plow Operator to join our team. This position is essential for maintaining safe and accessible roadways during winter weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience in snow plowing and groundskeeping, along with a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
•
Operate lawn equipment, all types and a snowplow vehicles to clear snow and ice from roads, parking lots, and walkways.
•
Perform landscape maintenance tasks as needed, including tree care and groundskeeping.
•
Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various maintenance tasks.
•
Build and maintain relationships with team members to ensure effective communication during snow events.
•
Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to changing conditions to ensure timely snow removal.
•
Dig out areas as necessary to maintain clear access for vehicles and pedestrians.
•
Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
Experience
•
Previous experience in snow plowing or landscape maintenance is preferred.
•
Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools is essential.
•
Knowledge of groundskeeping practices, including tree care, is a plus.
•
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions while maintaining a focus on safety.
•
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
