Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter Supervisor to lead our construction team in executing various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, construction management, and the ability to effectively manage a team. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore and Prolog. The Carpenter Supervisor will oversee project timelines, ensure quality workmanship, and maintain safety standards on-site.
Duties
•Manage daily operations of the carpentry crew, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
•Interpret and execute plans from blueprints and schematics to guide construction activities.
•Coordinate with project managers to establish timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
•Utilize construction management software (ProCore, Prolog) for project tracking and documentation.
•Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on-site.
•Conduct regular inspections of work performed by the team to guarantee quality and adherence to specifications.
•Train and mentor junior carpenters, fostering a collaborative work environment.
•Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders involved in the project.
Skills
•Strong leadership abilities to manage a diverse team of carpenters effectively.
•Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics for accurate project execution.
•Experience with construction management software such as ProCore or Prolog is highly desirable.
•Knowledge of contract requirements and ability to manage contracts effectively.
•Familiarity with pipeline processes within the construction industry.
•Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering quality results within deadlines.
