Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled LOWBOY to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting hevy machinery. This role requires a thorough understanding of various types of machinery, including but not limited to Excavtors, Dozers, Scrapers, loaders, etc. The Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Duties
•
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
•
Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.
•
Load and unload machinery as necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods.
•
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel usage.
•
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or delays.
•
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal driving regulations.
Skills
•
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
•
Strong understanding of route driving and freight handling procedures.
•
Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with GPS technology.
•
Strong attention to detail for safety inspections and record keeping.
•
Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
