Machinist I Apprentice

Job Summary

As an apprentice, under the direction of various experienced craftsmen, perform work in machine shop, assembly departments, and other dept’s to gain experience and perspective of the product manufactured and tools used, to learn to perform assignments independently.

Under Direction, Apprentice Operator is responsible for setting up, maintaining and operating Saws, Lathe, Drill Press’s and Milling Machine, both manual and CNC etc. to cut and produce precision parts working from drawings, sketches, and verbal orders
