ABOUT Hermosa

Hermosa, located approximately 75 miles south-east of Tucson, Arizona, is the only advanced mining project in the United States as of 2023 that could produce two federally designated critical minerals—manganese and zinc—as well as silver and lead. The project has the potential to help power the nation’s clean energy future, strengthen the domestic supply chain of critical minerals, grow the local economy, and improve lives in Santa Cruz County and the surrounding community for generations to come.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the (Commissioning Manager), you will be responsible for facilitating commissioning activities and ensure coordination amongst stakeholders in construction completion, commissioning and handover of facilities on site including the concentrator facilities, water treatment facilities, dewatering facilities, materials handling facilities, tailing filtration plant, paste backfill plant, permanent hoisting facilities such as hoist and shaft, and ventilation/refrigeration facilities. Manage multiple contractors including planning, scheduling, reporting, health, safety, security, environmental compliance, quality, community relations and meeting targets within budget and on time and ensuring compliance with Hermosa commissioning plans and systems by our contractors. This role is a (Permanent) position from Hermosa Site (Patagonia, AZ)
