Material Handler/Overhead Crane Operator

Summary: Operates traveling or stationary overhead crane (ground controlled) to lift, move, and position loads of steel within the production facility.

Salary: $20 - $23/hr

Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Qualifications

Education/Experience

+ Produces an appropriate quantity and quality of work; able to determine project urgency in a meaningful and practical way. + Writes and speaks effectively, demonstrates openness and honesty; uses consideration and tact when offering opinions. + Anticipates and recognized problems; communicates to supervisor in a timely manner. + Follows detailed procedures and ensures accuracy in documentation and data; carefully monitors gauges and processes; concentrates on routine work details; organizes and maintains documents and records. + Basic math including fractions, decimals, and chart reading. + Able to utilize basic computer programs including email, and production software. + Competent with operations of cleaning, packaging, and skid-building equipment. + Competent with forklift operations. + Competent with overhead crane operations and below-hook devices. + Competent with rail unloading equipment.
