Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in various metalworking techniques. Cutting and bending Rebar and Installation. This role involves working with different types of machinery and tools to fabricate, assemble, and finish metal products according to specifications.
Responsibilities
•
Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings to create metal components.
•
Onsite work
•
Operate and maintain various machines including press brake machines, milling machines, and laser cutting equipment.
•
Utilize plasma cutting techniques for precise metal shaping.
•
Assemble metal parts and components using hand tools and power tools.
•
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
•
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
Qualifications
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
•
Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
•
Experience operating forklifts is preferred but not required.
•
Familiarity with press brake machines, laser cutting, milling machines, and plasma cutting is highly desirable.
•
Ability to program machinery for specific tasks when necessary.
•
Competence in using hand tools effectively for assembly tasks.
•
Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
•
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
