Your Mission:

Under limited supervision, the Nursery Specialist supports all phases of nursery operations, including but not limited to potting and propagation, inventory management, watering, planting, and organization.

Outcomes You Will Deliver:

· Perform daily nursery inspections for general condition of plant material and infrastructure.

· Able to follow detailed task list and report problems or concerns.

· Help maintain plant material inventory.

· Prepare plants for propagation and participate in fast paced potting systems.

· Stage plants for sales, load and unload trucks.

· Maintain tools, infrastructure, and supplies.

Qualifications:

· Experience in landscape, nursery, or agriculture industry.

· Basic knowledge of native plants and shrubs.

· Excellent communication skills and initiative.

· Positive attitude and highly organized.

· Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and work in extreme weather conditions.

· Must be able to stand, lift, bend, stoop for long hours

· Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
