We are currently recruiting for an NDT Inspector Level II to join our Aerospace & Defence team in East Windsor, CT. As NDT Inspector you will maintain the NDT line IAW EEA&C procedures and work instructions and performs daily NDT inspection of parts and components.
Job Responsibilities

•Performs daily NDT system checks and documents the results.
•Performs NDT inspection of material per the appropriate WI’s, product manuals, and work instructions.
•Maintains a daily NDT log of all parts processed.
•Performs NDT training to delegated Level I and trainee NDT Inspectors.
•Ensure adherence to Safety Rules and Regulations
•Ensure high levels of housekeeping are maintained within work area
•Ensure work is carried out in accordance with QHSE policy

Required Skills / Knowledge
•Knowledge of various shop hand tools
•Skilled in use of various hand tool
•Skilled in oral and written communication (English)
•Able to manage multiple priorities & organize workload to meet deadlines
•Ability to follow oral and written instructions
•Ability to read, write, speak and understand English per FAA Regulations
•Able to use specified hand tools to achieve desired results
•Ability to think and concentrate for long periods of time
•Enjoys working in a team environment & train others as required
•Willing & able to be flexible with work schedule
•Ability to learn tasks required to perform the job
Experience
•400 / 800 / 1000 hours of experience in FPI / MPI / X-Ray inspection or
•Previous NAS410 Level II experience properly documented from a previous employer
Education Requirements
•Completion of a 40 / 80 hour NDT training course.
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Certified to National Standard as a Level II in either FPI, MPI or digital X-ray
Physical Requirements
•Professional appearance and demeanor
•Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
•Ability to sit/stand for up to 8 hours a day
•Repetitive motion of hands and wrist
