ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

McDougall Energy is looking to fill an Office Administration role at our Chatham operation.

Reporting to the Operations Manager this position is responsible for:

•

Providing excellent customer service, building quality relationships with customers.

•

Assisting with answering incoming calls and attending to customer inquiries.

•

Greeting customers and discussing the services required or providing information regarding the benefits of our services.

•

Ensuring all customer enquiries are addressed and handled professionally and diplomatically, leaving the customer with a positive resolution.

•

Collaborating with other departments / branches to ensure full customer satisfaction with the company's products and services.

•

Maintaining a high level of product and service knowledge, including propane, fuel and lubricant operations.

•

Accepting and processing customer payments.

•

Maintaining professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner. Adapt communication style in order to deliver information effectively to a range of individuals.

•

Performing other administrative assigned tasks and duties necessary to support operations.

ABOUT YOU: The ideal candidate will have:

•

Excellent customer service skills, including superior telephone manners.

•

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

•

Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

•

Strong organization, time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.

•

Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

•

Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.

•

Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.

•

Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required.

•

Ability to work well individually or as part of a team.
