The Role:
ADI is seeking an Office Manager/Receptionist that oversees the operations of the office, controls correspondence, and welcomes visitors with a positive attitude. The Office Manager will also coordinate various administrative projects and oversee all company activities.
Location: Springfield, VA
Responsibilities:
•
Greet all visitors/callers and direct them to the appropriate personnel
•
Coordinate and schedule local courier deliveries, distribute project drawings to subcontractors.
•
Maintain inventory of office supplies
•
Assist the Estimating Operations Manager with the overall daily plan to achieve proper bid coverage.
•
Retrieves messages from voice mail and forward as necessary to appropriate project manager or estimating team personnel.
•
Answer scope of work questions about individual projects or trades and/or ask for direction to give bidders accurate answers.
•
Organizing company events.
•
Assisting with accommodations for personnel.
•
Inquire state tax licensing for upcoming projects.
Experience:
•
PC - based scheduling and spreadsheet applications including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
•
Strong typing skills are highly recommended
•
Demonstrate the ability to perform in areas: client relationship, interpersonal skills, computer skills, safety/insurance, ability to communicate; both written and oral.
•
Two years administrative assistant experience
