Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. This role is essential in providing effective pest management solutions to our clients, ensuring their environments are safe and pest-free. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pest control, landscaping, or related fields, and possess excellent customer service skills. looking for someone with a good attitude and ready to learn more about the field. looking for somebody who is not just going to run around houses and wave a wand, looking for someone who will take time to diagnose problems and provide the clients with the proper treatments
Duties
•
Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest issues.
•
Pest control/fertilization/weed control
•
Apply appropriate pest control treatments using various methods, including chemical applications and traps.
•
Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for pest management tasks.
•
Maintain accurate records of services performed and communicate findings to clients.
•
Provide recommendations for preventative measures to help clients maintain a pest-free environment.
•
Drive to various job sites, ensuring timely arrival and completion of services.
•
Engage in sales activities by promoting additional services or products that may benefit clients.
•
Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
•
Previous experience in pest control, landscaping, or a related field is preferred.
•
Familiarity with farm machinery and lawn care practices is a plus.
•
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
•
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients.
•
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
•
Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely.
•
Willingness to learn about different pests and the best practices for their control.
•
Must be detail-oriented and able to follow safety protocols diligently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
•
8 hour shift
•
Weekends as needed
Work Location: On the road
