In this role, you will inspect residential and commercial buildings for signs of pest infestation, advise owners on treatment options, and provide pest control solutions. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The employee vision must allow for close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well as depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is frequently required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee may be required to crawl in small, hot or cold areas. The employee is required maintain balance, climb and sit for short and extended periods of time. Must be able to wear or utilized required safety equipment. The employee must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Excellent stamina is required. Discomfort may be experienced while wearing protective clothing, respirators, goggles, or face masks for extended periods of time. The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
