QA Engineer

Job Overview

The primary purpose of a Quality Engineer is to ensure that products and processes meet established quality standards and requirements. This involves implementing and maintaining quality control systems, monitoring compliance with relevant standards, and continuously improving manufacturing processes to enhance product quality.

Duties:

ISO 45001 Compliance Monitoring:

· Regularly assess and monitor compliance with ISO 45001 standards, which focus on occupational health and safety management systems.

· Conduct internal audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Assist/Supervise in IQC/IPQC/FQA:

· Provide support and guidance in the setup and execution of Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Final Quality Assurance (FQA) processes.

· Collaborate with teams to develop and implement quality plans and procedures.

Supplier Control and Manufacturing Improvement:

· Establish and maintain effective communication with suppliers to address quality issues and ensure adherence to specifications.

· Work closely with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, emphasizing quality and efficiency.

· Ensure Occupational Health and Safety compliance with health and safety laws and regulations.

· Follow all procedures in compliance of Accuenergy (Canada) Inc standard policy and operation regulations.

· Any other operation-related responsibilities may be added as company continues to grow.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Collaborate with Production QC Teams and Production Assembly Teams on daily supplier issues and QIN improvement activities.

· Maintain the SCAR and QIN quality management system on the Jira platform.

· Conduct and manage quarterly supplier meetings with relevant supplier/sectional team leaders.

· Work with Internal Quality Engineer (QE) on supplier quality improvement activities.

· Collaborate with Process Engineer (PE) on process quality improvement activities.

· Partner with Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) on customer quality improvement activities.

· Collaborate with the R&D Engineer on internal software quality improvement activities.

· Maintain the 8D quality management system on the Jira Platform.

· Prepare and maintain Work Instructions for QC (meter & panel) documentation on the server.

· Act as the leader for ISO 45001:2018 certification and maintenance.

· Coordinate internal factory QMS and EMS audits.

· Provide support for internal quality training and lessons learned.

· Other job duties as assigned.
