Reliant Plumbing is entering an exciting new chapter with the launch of our residential new construction division. We’re seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Residential Plumbing Estimator to join our growing team. This is a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality plumbing systems for our residential construction projects.

As a Residential Plumbing Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and thorough cost estimates for new construction homes. Your expertise will guide strategic decisions and help ensure each project is completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

•
Estimate Preparation:

Analyze blueprints, specifications, and related documents to prepare detailed plumbing estimates for residential new construction projects.

•
Project Coordination:

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to align estimates with project goals and timelines.

•
Cost Analysis:

Identify material, labor, and equipment requirements; assess subcontractor bids; and develop complete cost breakdowns.

•
Bid Management:

Prepare and submit bid proposals in a timely manner. Track bid outcomes and follow up with contractors and developers.

•
Value Engineering:

Recommend cost-effective alternatives or design modifications to maintain budget without compromising quality or code compliance.

•
Budget Oversight:

Monitor project budgets throughout the lifecycle of each job to ensure alignment with original estimates and flag discrepancies early.

•

Vendor & Supplier Communication:

Obtain quotes from suppliers and negotiate pricing for plumbing materials and fixtures.

•

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain clear and organized records of estimates, project notes, and change orders.

Qualifications:

•

1+ years of experience in plumbing estimating, specifically for residential new construction

•

Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, systems, and installation methods

•

Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications

•

Familiarity with estimating software

•

Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills

•

Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously

Schedule: Monday to Friday work schedule, rotating weekends, and on-call duties as needed.

Earning Potential: Based on commission, your potential for earning is significant, ranging from $70,000 to $85,000 per year.
