Risk Based Inspection Specialist

Overview:
A JAB Recruitment client is seeking a Risk Based Inspection (RIB) Specialist for 1-year contract in Freeport, Texas. The ideal candidate will specialize in Risk Based Inspection using the GE APM/Meridium software tool. This role is vital for identifying potential risks, optimizing inspection strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•
Perform risk assessments, update inspection plans, and evergreen RBI analyses for static equipment including pressure vessels, piping, and tanks.
•
Perform QA/QC of RBI project deliverables.
•
Think critically and troubleshoot issues that arise during RBI evergreening activities.
•
Stay updated with advancements in RBI methodologies and industry practices.
•
Develop detailed work processes and training related to inspections and RBI software.
•
Support with verification efforts of RBI data quality and assumptions.
•
Collaborate with engineering disciplines, operations personnel, and management.
Minimum requirements:
•
In-depth experience with API inspection codes, including API 510, API 570, and API 653.
•
Detail-oriented, strong communication skills, collaborative, creative.
•
Strong understanding of the concepts of probability and consequence, and how they affect risk levels of equipment.
•
Proficiency in GE APM software tool.
•
Familiarity with Risk Based Inspection (RBI) and damage mechanism reviews.
•
API Inspector Certification.
