About the Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Roaster Operator to join our Centerra Langeloth team. This position is an onsite role based in Langeloth, PA, responsible for operating and maintaining roasting equipment.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

•

Operate roasting equipment, including rotary kilns, fluidized bed roasters, and other machinery.

•

Monitor and control temperature, pressure, and other processes parameters to optimize extraction and product quality.

•

Adjust equipment settings as needed.

•

Comply with all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

•

Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and report issues.

•

Monitor quality and make adjustments to meet quality standards.

•

Sample and analyze product samples to ensure they meet specifications.

•

Perform routine maintenance on roasting equipment to ensure it operates efficiently.

•

Troubleshoot and address minor equipment issues and assist maintenance with major repairs.

•

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations by managing emissions, waste disposal, and other environmental aspects.

•

Maintain accurate records of equipment operations, process parameters and production volumes.

•

Work closely with other plant personnel to coordinate production.

About You

The following will be critical to successfully performing this role:

•

High school diploma or GED.

•

Strong understanding of safety regulations.

•

Ability to read and interpret technical documents, equipment manuals, and process diagrams.

•

Previous experience operating roasting equipment or similar machinery in a heavy industrial setting.
