Brief Description:
The Sales Support Associate is responsible for representing Ulterra professionally and ethically at the field and warehouse levels. This role plays a critical part in supporting the Field Sales team to meet customer demands. The position requires a high level of organization, accountability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Detailed Description
•Deliver bits and other inventory to the field as required.
•Perform distribution, inventory tracking, and cycle counts.
•Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance at all times.
•Maintain a professional appearance, including adhering to company dress code and facial hair policies.
•Ensure 100% accountability of inventory at all times through proper documentation and procedures.
•Keep company vehicles clean, safe, and well-maintained; ensure timely routine maintenance.
•Maintain open communication with Sales Supervisors, Applications Engineers, Account Representatives, and District Managers on a daily basis.
•Continuously learn about local applications, Ulterra products, and their proper usage.
•Perform additional responsibilities as required.
Job Requirements
•Strong ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
•Advanced written and oral communication skills.
•Ability to navigate maps, use GPS, and maintain a clean driving record.
•Basic computer skills with the ability to advance to an intermediate level.
•Comfortable using programs similar to social media apps for communication and reporting.
•Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and stay organized.
•Public speaking skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
•Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
Minimum Qualifications
•High School Diploma or GED.
•1+ years of sales or relevant industry experience.
•Valid state-issued driver’s license and eligibility to drive a company vehicle under the Company’s Vehicle Use Agreement and Driving Policy.
Preferred Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management or similar discipline.
•Forklift operation experience.
•Previous experience in inventory management or field sales support.
Additional Details
The Sales Support Associate must work with an emphasis on safety for themselves and others including coworkers and third parties. The typical work environment will be in the shop or field which will require exposure to outdoor weather conditions, loud noise, working near moving mechanical parts, electrical energy, construction equipment, vibration, fumes, chemicals, and airborne particles.
