Job Purpose:
Manager is responsible for all sanitation activities in the plant and maintains proper communication across departments. Collaborates and enhances core performance utilizing the continuous improvement process to achieve plant goals. Oversee and establish all training required necessary to improve plant safety, cleanliness, and productivity.
Job Functions/Responsibilities:
•Mentorship and development of sanitation team
•Maintain proper sanitation SSOP.
•Ensure compliance with all company and regulatory product quality standards, sanitation standards, food safety standards, employee safety and environmental standards.
•Maintain GMP enforcement and implements HACCP processses and procedures.
•Supports current and future plant KPI’s (Examples but not limited to, Sanitation Effectiveness, Air Quality, EMPC and Chemical usage.)
•Maintain proper communications with upper management as well as production, maintenance, quality control, and warehouse departments.
•Ensure compliance of safety program and government regulations as it relates to sanitation.
•Protect product from microbiological and extraneous matter contamination.
•Supports and participates in third party/customer/regulatory audits.
•Evaluates and maintains accuracy and completion of master sanitation schedule.
•Studies production schedules and estimates sanitor time requirements for completion of job.
•Maintain adequate supply of tools, chemicals, and SSOP's.
•Monitor and audit sanitation program, making adjustments as necessary to SOP’S sanitating check lists, and processing and packaging equipment cleaning systems to ensure optimal operation.
•Leads/follows up on all vendors that support the sanitation function and programs.
•Follows all Plant Safety processes and protocols.
•Responsible for fair and timely evaluations of all employees in his/her area of responsibility.
•Responsible to conduct team meetings that are meaningful and offer the sanitors the opportunity to express themselves on pertinent problems relating to their jobs.
•Responsible to see that all personnel are performing their assignments in a timely manner.
•Perform other duties as required.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
