Shop/Field Mechanic

The position of Mobile Diesel Technician is responsible for trouble-shooting, service, repair and maintenance of FieldForce products in a safe and efficient manner in either a FieldForce Service Center, customer job site or via phone

STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS:

Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities. To perform this job successfully, the applicant will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently.

Some requirements may exclude individuals who pose a direct threat or significant risk to the health and safety of themselves, or other employees.

Education/Qualifications:

Essential:

1. High school diploma or GED required.

2. Some specialized mechanical/technical education a plus.

Desirable:

1. Experience servicing Pioneer, Godwin and Cornell pumps, McElroy Fusion Machines and Cleveland Brothers/CAT construction equipment.

2. Provide personal common hand tools to perform the above functions.

Requirements/Skills:

Essential:

1. Knowledge of diesel engines, truck repairs, mechanical devices, centrifugal pumps, and equipment maintenance.

2. Proficiency with MS outlook email and general computer skills

3. Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks with competing priorities in a fast pace environment.

4. Proven track record of establishing and maintaining healthy working relationships in permanent and temporary work groups.
