As a Solar Installer, you will perform the installation process of solar panels roof and ground mounts including installing mounting rails and solar panels, connecting solar wires together, running conduit to a roof mounting junction box to ensure a high quality install with a focus on team work, efficiency and do-it-right the first time.
•
High School diploma or GED preferred, associate degree or trade school experience in construction a plus
•
7-10+ years prior experience in construction involving solar, carpentry, roofing, or related trades (Required)
•
A minimum of 2 years of solar installation or service experience (Required)
•
Experience in the use of power tools, and other hand tools such as a utility knife, hammer, deglazing tools, etc. (Required)
•
Direct experience in electrical work (Preferred)
•
Properly maintain and organize tools, supplies, and other company property.
•
Clean driving record with the ability to regularly operate a fleet vehicle (Required)
•
Excellent oral and written communication skills
•
Team work and positive attitude are key
