SUMMARY: We are looking for a Warehouse Picker / Packer / Non CDL Back up Driver, at our Jacksonville FL. facility. This position will be responsible for Picking & Packing part orders daily accurately & efficiently. As needed you will be responsible for the delivery of our water filtration units within Florida. This position requires a hardworking, dependable and reliable individual who can work in a warehouse alone & deliver equipment including loading and unloading on site. Primary responsibilities include picking & packing parts in a warehouse environment. This includes using a forklift to load pallets into van trailers when needed. Secondary responsibilities include deliveries within Florida with our company F250 pulling a 30ft trailer. Offloading our water filtration units & other items to job sites. Components of this position include working in different environments from warehouse, office & construction job sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Warehouse Packing/Picking

•

Ensure orders are picked accurately

•

Ensure orders are accurately labeled

•

Maintain clean & organized work area

•

Keep paperwork organized for accuracy

•

Ensure proper shipping labels go to the correct packages

•

Be organized & accurate with paperwork, packaging, & labeling

Back up delivery driver

•

Ensures delivery vehicles and equipment is operated safely and efficiently

•

Completes required paperwork to the appropriate department

•

Serves as face of the company to key customers and captures customer feedback

•

Operate in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment

•

Ensures trip check lists and paperwork is completed to maintain clean and safe delivery vehicles/equipment. Photograph “as delivered” equipment

•

Monitoring and ensuring all load securement policies are being followed for safe and accurate deliveries on site

•

Communicating with customers to provide on time delivery

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

•

Valid Driver’s License

•

High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

•

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

•

Warehouse experience

•

driving with a trailer experience

•

Delivery experience

•

Safety policies and processes

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

•

Lift or move up to 100 lbs.

•

Standing frequently

•

Reaching with hands and arms

•

Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling occasionally

•

Ability to operate material handling equipment

•

Follow instructions given by management

•

Ger in and out of a vehicle or forklift

•

Climb onto & unload equipment from a trailer

•

Follow Safety policies and work in a safe orderly manner

•

Report any and all unsafe conditions to management

•

Drive safely and obey all traffic laws

•

Positive, helpful demeanor when in contact with customers and vendors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
