Welder

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a welder you will cut, grind, fit, fabricate, and weld components of hydraulic cylinders. Assist with new build and repair of hydraulic cylinders. Assist in other areas of the shop as needed. Willing to work OT on a as needed bases with little to no notice. Self-starter and able to work with little supervision. Pay based on experience and weld test.

Preferred Qualifications:

5 plus years welding on pressure vessels.

Ability to weld mig, tig, flux core, pulse mig, and stick.

Able to read and follow WPS and blue prints.

Safely operate a forklift and overhead crane.

General and mechanical knowledge of hydraulics.

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

2-3 years of on the job welding experience.

Ability to weld mig, tig, and flux core.

Able to read and follow WPS and blue prints.

Must be able to certify and adhere to company weld procedures.

Able to use and read a tape measure.

Able to stand, walk, kneel, and/or squat as needed.

Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Lift up to 35 lbs without assistance.

Follow and adhere to all company policies.

Willing to learn other parts of the hydraulic industry.

Able to be to work on time with regular and predictable attendance.

Able to communicate effectively.

Able to problem solve.

Able to work within a team environment and maintain good working relationships with fellow employees.
