Accounts Receivable/ Accounts Payable Clerk

We are a steel distribution and fabrication Company located near Hobby Airport in Houston Texas. We have an entry level Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable Clerk position for a candidate with 3-5 years experience. You must have an eye for detail. Competencies:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.

High level of accuracy with meticulous attention to small details and proofreading skills

Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/accounts receivable systems and procedures

Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently

Problem solving—the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully.

Customer service—the individual manages difficult vendor situations

Dependability—the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.

Qualifications include:

2 years small business experience with accounts payable / accounts receivable required

QuickBooks knowledge helpful

Microsoft Office knowledge required

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
