About This Job

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bid Coordinator to join our team at Percopo Coatings Company. The ideal candidate will manage our Bid inbox, maintain our bid log, and assist with plan management and project coordination. This role is essential in ensuring our estimators have the necessary information to deliver accurate bids.

Key Responsibilities:

Bid Management:

•

Monitor and manage the bid email inbox, ensuring timely responses and organization of incoming requests.

•

Extract and input data from emails into the bid Excel log accurately.

Log Maintenance:

•

Update the bid log with relevant information, including bid statuses, deadlines, and any changes.

•

Ensure the bid log is kept current and accessible to the team.

Plan Management:

•

Download and organize project plans from various sources.

•

Save plans in a designated shared folder on our server, ensuring proper file naming and organization.

•

Upload plans into our takeoff software for use by estimators.

Coordination and Support:

•

Assist project management with smaller tasks as needed, providing support to ensure project timelines are met.

•

Collaborate with estimators and project managers to streamline the bid process.

Additional Tasks:

•

Perform data entry and administrative tasks related to the bidding process.

•

Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

•

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in construction or project coordination preferred.

•

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with data entry and management.

•

Having knowledge of VLOOKUP is a Plus.

•

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

•

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

•

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•

Familiarity with construction plans and takeoff software is a plus.

•

Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
