We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Superintendent to join our team and help lead projects to successful completion.

Job Summary:

The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing daily construction operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations, DEP requirements and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid background in managing commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Supervise and manage on-site construction activities and personnel.

•

Ensure the timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

•

Oversee subcontractors and vendors, ensuring work is performed according to the contract.

•

Coordinate daily work schedules and tasks for the construction team.

•

Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies.

•

Monitor project progress and resolve issues as they arise.

•

Communicate regularly with the owners regarding project status.

•

Review and approve work performed by subcontractors and laborers.

•

Maintain accurate project records, including daily logs, progress reports, and material orders.

•

Utilize a CDL to pull trailers as necessary for equipment transportation to and from job sites.

Qualifications:

•

Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent / Project Manager or in a similar supervisory role.

•

Strong knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, and safety regulations.

•

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the ability to pull trailers for equipment transportation as needed.

•

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.

•

Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

•

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

•

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly.

•

High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.

•

OSHA 30-hour certification or similar safety certification is preferred.

•

Active CDL preferred
