Pipeline Integrity & CP Project Work
Position Overview
We are seeking a Dual Certified Chief Inspector to support integrity-related work across Michigan and Indiana. The role requires expertise in both welding and coating inspection, overseeing various scopes including anomaly detection, inline replacements, sleeves, composite wraps, SCADA, and ECDA digs.
Project Duration
•Start Date: March 10, 2025
•Estimated End Date: July 1, 2025 (+/-)
•Schedule: Monday – Saturday (6/10s)
Primary Responsibilities
•Oversee both welding and coating inspection scopes
•Manage high-production work environments
•Supervise CP test stations and ground beds installations
•Ensure compliance with industry standards and procedures
•Maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation
•Provide technical guidance and oversight to inspection teams
Required Qualifications
Welding Inspector Requirements
•AWS CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) certification
•Comprehensive knowledge of API Standard 1104 (Welding of Pipelines and Related Facilities)
•API RP 1169 certification
•Proven experience with industry processes and procedures
•High School Diploma or GED
Coating Inspector Requirements
•NACE CIP Level 1 or AMPP CIP Level 1 certification
•Demonstrated knowledge of coating inspection processes and procedures
•Manufacturer training or substantial product exposure
•API RP 1169 certification
•High School Diploma or GED
Work Location
•Multiple areas across Michigan and Indiana
Physical Requirements
•Ability to work in various weather conditions
•Capable of accessing pipeline facilities and construction sites
•Valid driver's license and ability to travel between project locations
