Position Responsibilities:
•
Design and install electrical distribution and control systems for manufacturing equipment.
•
Assist Engineering and Controls Managers with electrical projects across divisions.
•
Ensure proper installation of electrical equipment per NFPA and NEC codes.
•
Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems using test equipment and tools.
•
Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and compliance issues.
•
Plan and implement electrical wiring, equipment, and fixture installations per specifications and codes.
•
Design and draft wiring layouts to meet building and safety codes.
•
Proactively plan equipment replacements and recommend improvements.
•
Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
•
Lead new equipment purchases, installations, and training.
Required Education & Skills:
•
B.S. in Electrical Engineering
•
Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
•
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment
•
Experience in a manufacturing environment
•
Strong computer skills in MS Office; CAD proficiency a plus
•
Experience with PLCs, HMI, and AutoCAD
•
Excellent organization and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and plan 6-12 months ahead
•
Self-motivated, driven, and eager to learn and grow
•
Creative, analytical, and detail-oriented with a strong mechanical aptitude
•
Ability to apply engineering expertise to solve complex problems
•
High integrity, respect for team members, and a collaborative mindset
•
Quick learner who thrives both independently and in team settings
