Marlin Resources is a dynamic, small private oil and gas company with properties in both Alberta and Saskatchewan. Looking for an experienced Oil and Gas Engineering Technologist who is motivated and a self starter.
Marlin is actively seeking a full-time Engineering Technologist to join our team in the Calgary office. The successful candidate will be working closely with Engineering staff to support day to day and long term projects.
Skills/Qualities:
•
Technologist with 3 or more years of experience. Ideally light and heavy oil. ASET certification an asset.
•
Analytical skills
•
Self-starter with strong communication and team working skills. Must also be able to work well independently.
•
Time management skills to produce results under tight deadlines.
•
Attention to details with moving in a face paced environment.
•
Familiar with ProdMan, GeoScout and MuddyBoots would be an asset.
•
Previous knowledge of AER and SMER regulations would be an asset.
•
Familiar with OneStop, DDS and IRIS would be an asset.
•
Exceptional communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
This position is Contract Full Time.
The start date for the prospective applicant is as soon as possible.
