This position is responsible for the Gateway Safety Program. This position reports directly to the ownership of the company.
·Approximately 80% field time within the state of Oklahoma
·Plan and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration rules and regulations
· Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective action
· Administer Drug and Alcohol testing as needed
· Conduct regular and random safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed
· Work with HR on Veriforce, Isnetworld, etc
· Works with clients to ensure safety guidelines are met
· Responsible for safety department for all of Gateway
· Must be willing to work some weekends to meet safety needs
· Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships
· Ability to work outdoors in any weather conditions on a regular basis including extreme cold and heat
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
· Ability to stand, stoop, crouch, kneel and perform other related physical activities for long periods of time
· Must be able to pass DOT required drug test
· Must have a clean motor vehicle report
