Environmental Health Safety Specialist

This position is responsible for gaining information, insight, and trends on our safety data to drive safety improvement and reduce risk for the organization. The ability to manipulate and understand the data analyzed and resolve sophisticated problems are keys to success!
Knowledge of Database, SQL, Power BI, data analysis, data mining, data transformation.
Responsibilities/Expectations:
•
Designs, develops, and implements databases, data collection systems and other strategies to optimize efficiency and quality
•
Acquires data from data sources to maintain our databases/data systems
•
Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in data sets
•
Reviews our metrics data and interprets results
•
Develops and generates reports and data visualization dashboards
•
Collaborates with business partners to identify and interpret internal/external customer needs, assess requirements and identify responses.
•
1 - 3 years experience in oil & gas is required.
•
Bachelor degree required.
