Role Description

This is a full-time on-site frac watch role for Field Technicians, located in Houston, TX. servicing south Texas, New Mexico, and Midland. The Field Technician will be responsible for regular inspection, greasing, preventive maintenance, and repairs of CPC pressure control equipment and tools. They will be responsible for preparing equipment for next usage in the field. They will be responsible for documenting field service and repair activities, and will also provide technical assistance to other CPC staff and customers when required.


Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Technical degree or certification in Industrial Mechanics, Mechanical Technology, Electronics, or related field is preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in field service, preventive maintenance, and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment and tools
Experience in Pressure Control Equipment or related field is preferred
Experience in using diagnostic software and equipment, and ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Willingness and ability to work in all types of weather, and travel frequently to remote locations as required
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to work long hours and weekends when required
