Role Responsibilities

•

Financial Reporting & Compliance - Prepare and oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including tax filings and reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS). Manage the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors to ensure compliance and transparency.

Budgeting & Forecasting - Lead the development and implementation of the company’s annual budget and periodic financial forecasts.Provide detailed analysis and projections related to revenue, costs, and capital expenditures to ensure efficient resource allocation.Monitor and report on performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities.

Cost Management & Analysis - Oversee cost accounting processes related to production and inventory, including the valuation of raw materials, finished goods, and work-in-progress. Conduct margin analysis, identify cost drivers, and suggest cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability.Collaborate with operations to monitor and optimize production costs, efficiency, and inventory management.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management - Manage the company’s cash flow, ensuring the timely collection of receivables and payment of liabilities.Optimize working capital and ensure sufficient liquidity to meet the company’s operational needs.Maintain relationships with financial institutions and ensure the company has access to necessary credit lines or financing options.

Strategic Financial Planning - Partner with senior leadership to support long-term strategic planning and decision-making. - Evaluate capital investments, acquisitions, and divestitures to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals.Provide financial insights and recommendations to support operational efficiency and business expansion.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement - Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.Continuously review and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Leadership & Team Management - Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement - Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the team's technical skills and industry knowledge.

Qualifications & Requirements

•

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.

•

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or finance role, preferably in the aggregate, mining, or construction materials industry.

•

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of cost accounting, financial reporting, payroll, and budgeting in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards (GAAP, IFRS).

Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders. Leadership skills with experience in team management.

Location: Eagle, Idaho (this is not a remote opportunity).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
