Position Overview

As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will play a key role in leading the financial reporting process as well as overseeing internal financial analysis. You will be responsible for producing high-quality financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Additionally, you will lead the creation of internal management reports in Power BI, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and perform in-depth analysis for data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

•

Oversee monthly plant level reporting and perform the corporate consolidation process. Ensure timely delivery and accurate financial reporting.

•

Perform variance analysis vs. forecast, budget, and prior year.

•

Prepare quarterly external reporting packages for lenders and private equity sponsor.

•

Coordinate with local teams to identify and track EBITDA adjustments in accordance with loan covenant allowances.

•

Prepare the quarterly cash flow statement based on consolidated income and balance sheet results.

•

Lead forecasting and budgeting cycles. Work with the sales and operations teams to move towards a 12-month rolling forecast process.

•

Work closely with senior management to analyze and interpret financial data, providing insights and recommendations for business improvements.

•

Identify creative and innovative ways to streamline reporting, automate processes, and make information accessible on a real-time basis. Leverage familiarity with reporting tools to improve reporting capabilities.

•

Generate ideas for KPIs that provide meaningful insight to the business’ fundamental drivers. Have a strong appreciation for the difference between interesting data and important information.

•

Support in the ongoing 4HANA SAP ERP migration. Develop a strong understanding of data structures and ERP capabilities.

Required Skills and Experience:

•

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

•

A minimum of 5 or more years of experience in financial reporting, with a strong focus on external reporting and the preparation of financial statements.

•

Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).

•

Proven expertise in building cash flow statements, balance sheets, and income statements.

•

Experience with Standard Cost Accounting

•

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

•

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, growing company environment.

•

Expert level skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

•

Strong experience using Power BI, Artificial Intelligence, or other reporting tools.

Preferred

•

CPA, CFA, or other professional accounting certification is highly preferred.

•

Proactive, “can do” attitude.

•

Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong understanding of enterprise value expansion.

•

Experience with ERP conversion projects with SAP a big plus.

•

Previous experience in the oil and gas manufacturing or related industry is highly advantageous.
