Position Summary:
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, including production, sales, project management, customer service. This role requires a strong leader with experience in the sign industry or related manufacturing fields, capable of optimizing workflows, building high-performing teams, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead and manage all departments: production, installation, sales, and customer service.
•Develop and execute business strategies to meet company goals and objectives.
•Oversee job scheduling, resource allocation, and project timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
•Implement and monitor quality control standards to maintain excellence in all products and services.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
•Analyze financial data, prepare budgets, and report on key performance indicators.
•Recruit, train, and evaluate staff; foster a positive and productive work environment.
•Ensure compliance with safety regulations, licensing, and industry standards.
•Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and systems to increase efficiency.
•Collaborate with ownership on strategic planning and growth initiatives.
Qualifications:
•Proven experience as a General Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role, preferably in the signage, construction, or custom manufacturing industries.
•Strong understanding of sign production processes, materials, and installation methods.
•Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•Financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibility.
•Working knowledge of project management tools, and CRM systems is a plus.
