Part of the Greenfire Resources Employment Corporation Human Resources team, the Human Resources Advisor is expected to display conflict management and decision-making skills and have a solid understanding of employee relationships, staffing management, and payroll and benefits administration. The goal is to ensure that all human resources needs of Greenfire Resources Employment Corporation (GROC) are being met and aligned with the business objectives.
Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
· Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
· Serve as point of contact with new hires during recruitment and onboarding process.
· Ensure Human Resources guidelines are administered consistently across all departments and locations.
· Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build positive culture and morale and increase productivity and retention.
· Assist with the recruitment process by posting jobs, identifying candidates, performing reference and ABSA/APEGA checks and issuing employment contracts.
· Implement onboarding protocols with new staff to ensure they feel welcomed and informed.
· Assist with scheduling meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
· Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
· 3+ years experience as an HR assistant or similar role.
· Working knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce HRIS System for both payroll processing and adding in new hires
· Effective HR administration and people management skills.
· Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with ability to interact with employees at all levels, as well as build and maintain strong working relationships.
· Demonstrates a high degree of confidentiality in interpersonal interaction.
· Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
· Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office suite and related business and communication tools.
