JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Works in all data systems utilized by the HR function, for example Cornerstone, Syntrio and ADP. Liaises with appropriate Hiring Managers, Payroll/Benefits and HR Partners on hiring, promoting and terminations for the US. Serves as a liaison and resource for field Managers and employees and supports labor relations issues and concerns. Supports daily operations of the HR department and performs HR clerical and administrative duties as required. Ensures accuracy of all employee personnel files, HR systems and company records.
JOB SCOPE/DIMENSIONS
This position reports to the Senior Human Resources Generalist and is responsible for supporting all phases of human resource activity for sites in the US.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Participation in the recruiting process to include job postings, job description creation, applicant tracking, onboarding process, reporting, assistance with temporary staff assignments.
•Responsible for communicating announcements of new hire, transitions, promotions, and terminations
•Assists with monthly communication meetings at all Montana sites.
•Manages, updates, and organizes all hard and digital copies of human resource records.
•Manages system administration and set up processes in Cornerstone and Syntrio.
•Assists with the employee performance review process.
•Liaises with payroll/benefits on pay/timesheet issues and on health insurance and retirement issues.
•Handles all HR Reporting requirements
•Participates on community relations team
•Assists the SR. HR Generalist with all phases of human resources activity including, but not limited to, labor contract administration, labor agreement negotiation preparation, grievance processing, complaint investigation, policy development, proposed benefit plan changes, employment verification requests, workers compensation, payroll, budgeting, and personnel-related hearings.
•Coordinates with the human resources team to ensure that policies, practices, and/or proposed actions comply with federal and state laws, Company policy and/or labor agreement provisions.
•Maintains accurate hard copy and online personal, status and salary files and personnel transaction records such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations. Coordinates processing of information with each site in US
•Assists in conducting and coordinating training and development activities on various subjects, such as employment law, sexual harassment, interviewing techniques and Company benefits.
•Performs other duties as assigned or needed

Pay: $50,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
