The Instrumentation, Controls & Electrical (IC&E) Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical power systems, control systems, and plant communication networks at the Mountain Peak Power Facility. This includes fuel gas control valves, flow meters, gas chromatographs, electrical meters, protective relays, PLCs, and engine control systems. The IC&E Technician also oversees electrical power systems ranging from 24V DC to 13.8kV AC, ensuring the reliability of power transformers, MCCs, generator breakers, motors, heaters, VFDs, and lighting systems.
As part of a small Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team, the IC&E Technician will become plant operator qualified and play a key role in plant operations, including rotating on-call coverage. This position also supports mechanical maintenance activities, assisting in engine repairs and inspections when needed.
