What are your responsibilities?

The Lead Technical Mechanic is responsible for providing mechanical and technical support for shop work, including servo and actuator rebuilding, inventory & work order management, and conducting comprehensive equipment troubleshooting and reverse engineering. Perform routine ERP updating to reflect tooling updates, shipping and logistics support, inventory system updating and work order development.


Essential Duties* Perform Servo and actuator rebuilding, ensure high-quality workmanship and adhere to technical specifications.

Expertise in reverse engineering capabilities on mechanical equipment.
Conduct thorough equipment troubleshooting and diagnostic assessments to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
Support Inventory management, including tracking, organization, stock replenishment.
Support logistics support to facilitate operational processes.
Manage internal work orders and project updating in our internal workflow management system.
ERP updates related to shop and field projects. Shipping and logistics facilitation and internal spreadsheet creation and updating utilized for customs shipments. Weekly workload scheduling/development/review to help support shop scheduling.
Other duties as assigned.

What do you need to qualify for this role?* High School Diploma required.

10+ years’ experience in a similar role within a technical or mechanical environment.
Proven expertise in servo and actuator rebuilding and reverse engineering, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical equipment and instruments.
Solid knowledge of RFQ and contract review processes, with excellent attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills and experience in inventory and work order management.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with vendors, customers, and other internal stakeholders.
