Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Director to lead and manage all U.S. logistics operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective shipments. This role is responsible for overseeing rail car operations, fleet optimization, bulk terminals and may be involved in container booking, and bulk shipments while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will excel in commercial coordination, logistics planning, and supply chain optimization to support our global trade activities.
Duties
Oversee U.S. logistics Operations – Manage and coordinate rail logistics for bulk shipments, container booking to ensure smooth and compliant activities.
•Export Planning & Coordination – Develop and implement export strategies, aligning with commercial objectives and international market demands.
•Customer Satisfaction – Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods, maintaining strong relationships with customers.
•Commercial Coordination – Work closely with commercial teams to align logistics with sales forecasts, contract commitments, and supply chain needs.
•Regulatory Compliance – Ensure all export activities comply with U.S. and international trade regulations, including documentation, customs requirements, and industry standards.
•Logistics Optimization – Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks in shipping operations.
•Collaboration & Stakeholder Management – Partner with internal teams, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to streamline export processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
•Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business, or a related field.
•[10+] years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
•Strong understanding of bulk shipping, containerized freight.
•Experience in commercial coordination and logistics planning.
•Knowledge of U.S. export regulations, Incoterms, and international trade compliance.
•Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership skills.
•Proficiency in logistics software and supply chain management tools.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
