Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day activities of our company. The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing staff, optimizing processes, ensuring efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and working closely with other departments to streamline operations and improve overall performance. This role also involves strategic planning, resource allocation, and decision-making. Successful candidates will have the ability to promote accountability through constructive feedback and motivation, empowering the team to succeed. Preferred candidates will have experience in metal coatings or a similar manufacturing environment.
The core working hours for this full-time, salaried exempt position are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with additional hours as needed based on operational requirements. The role offers a base salary starting at $115,000, commensurate with experience and education, and is eligible for a bonus.

Duties & Responsibilities:
•Provide direction, support, and leadership to all departments.
•Develop and maintain a safe and effective organizational culture through the selection, training, and accountability of team.
•Lead and coach teams to drive a high-performance culture and operational excellence.
•Guide the team in achieving personal, departmental, and company goals.
•Manage employee relations issues and ensure compliance with company policies.
•Organize and coordinate activities within the manufacturing operation to meet or exceed company goals.
•Plan the use of facilities, equipment, and personnel to meet current and future manufacturing requirements.
•Proactively forecast direct labor requirements and develop creative solutions to achieve capacities and flexibility.
•Develop, maintain, and improve systems/procedures and product income levels through waste and cost reduction plans.
•Partner with the Quality Manager in the preparation and implementation of lean plans and strategies.
•Appraise technological developments and investigate the feasibility of new equipment and techniques.
•Prepare cost estimates for changes in manufacturing methods.
•Forecast capital expenditures for improvement, replacement, or modification to production equipment and facilities.
•Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (OSHA, EPA, EEOC, etc.) and certifications (ISO 9001).
Talents and Credentials:
•High school graduate or GED; bachelor’s degree in business management or similar preferred.
•Minimum 5+ years business and management related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in metal coatings or related industry in a manufacturing environment.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
•Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
•Understanding of financial principles and experience in budget development and cost control.
•Strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to make timely and sound decisions.
•Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them appropriately.
•Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
•Ability to train staff and provide feedback.
•Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Suite; Epicor and CRM experience a plus.

•Exceptional communication skills.
•Proven expertise in Project Management.
•Experience with Lean, ISO, and 5S.
•Capability to maintain a simple and effective approach (80/20 principle).
•Experience working within an EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) environment.
•A demonstrated record of building strong, high-performing teams (RP/RS).
•Confidence in delegating responsibilities and trusting the team.
•Passion for mentorship and team development.
