Payroll and Benefits Specialist

Purpose:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated individual to join our team as a Payroll Coordinator. Reporting to the Controller, the Payroll Coordinator should have a working knowledge of Prevailing Wage Reporting and will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll in collaboration with other Payroll Coordinators. Responsibilities:

+ Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, calculations, and verification. + Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies. + Knowledge of Prevailing wage reporting beneficial + Perform regular audits to guarantee data accuracy. + Oversee timekeeping systems and processes to ensure accurate recording of employee work hours. + Address and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. + Collaborate with HR to address any payroll-related compliance issues. + Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather necessary payroll data and resolve payroll-related queries. + Collaborate with Finance for accurate financial reporting. + Maintain accurate and organized payroll records and documentation. + Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and professional manner.
