Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production processes by coordinating schedules, managing inventory, and optimizing resource allocation. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain management and production planning principles, along with the ability to forecast needs and maintain inventory control.

Responsibilities

•

Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization.

•

Collaborate with various departments, including manufacturing, purchasing and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.

•

Monitor inventory levels to manage raw material effectively.

•

Forecast production needs and adjust schedules accordingly.

•

Analyze production data to identify trends, forecast future requirements, and make informed scheduling decisions.

•

Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies throughout the scheduling process.

Experience

•

Proven experience in production scheduling or a related role within a manufacturing environment. Steel fabrication experience is a plus.

•

Strong knowledge of manufacturing techniques and principles.

•

Experience in supply chain management, inventory control, and production planning is essential.

•

Ability to fabricate schedules based on varying demand forecasts and changing priorities.

•

Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

•

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.

•

Exceptional communication skills for collaboration across departments.
